Medical Malpractice – $3,000,000 Settlement for Failure of Hospital Emergency Room
This medical malpractice action involved the misdiagnosis of a young man. While suffering from a traumatic brain injury from an assault, the hospital emergency physician misdiagnosed the injury as a “black eye”, due to total to conduct a complete, comprehensive physical examination of the plaintiff. Because of the negligence, the Medical Malpractice Lawyers at Antin, Ehrlich, and Epstein pressed the hospital and its insurer into a $3,000,000 on behalf of the young man so that he could try to resume as normal of a life as possible.
The plaintiff was later found to have suffered a large, rapidly expanding left acute subdural hematoma. It was alleged that if the defendant hospital and emergency room staff had diagnosed the extent of the plaintiff’s injuries on a timely basis, he might not have needed to undergo a craniotomy or be declared mentally incompetent
Scott Epstein at Antin, Ehrlich & Epstein obtained a $3,000,00.00 settlement on his behalf.
