On Behalf of | Feb 25, 2014 | Verdicts & Settlements

A plasterer knowingly used a scaffold that was too big for the area in which he was working, instead of using a smaller ladder which would have fit into the space better and was readily available.  Through his negligence, he fell from the scaffold and sustained injuries.

Although there was that the accident was solely the plaintiff’s fault for knowingly using a scaffold that was too big for the area, Labor Law Lawyers from Antin, Ehrlich, and Epstein were able to obtain a $425,000 settlement on his behalf.

The case was settled on the eve of trial and included a complete waiver of the workers’ compensation lien.
