Construction Accident – $2.5 Million Settlement for the Estate of a Worker Killed from Fall due to the Defective Repair of a Scaffold

A NYC Personal Injury Lawyer at Antin, Ehrlich and Epstein obtained a settlement of $2,500,000 on behalf of the estate of a window washer who fell from the roof of a 47 story building.  The judgment was against the negligent owner of the building and the scaffolding company responsible. The court found the building owner and the scaffolding company liable for the 47-story plunge of the window-washing unit from the roof of the Upper East Side building when the cables supporting the scaffolding gave way.

The worker’s estate settled the case after a New York Judge ruled that the building owner and a scaffolding company were responsible for the fall, accepting the arguments made on behalf of the window washer’s family by the New York Personal Injury Law firm of Antin, Ehrlich & Epstein.
